5 open source project of google that you must know

1. Android

That you know more than 1 billion device are connected to the internet running android. This means android is most popular operating system in the world, even outranking windows. The device can be much cheaper because there is no licensing fee for the operating system, now as a result, Android has been adopted by hundreds of millions of people around the world.  For that, Android tops our list of Google open source projects.

2. Chromium

Do you know what is Chromium? You heard about Chrome browser but do you know that chrome is based on an open source project known as Chromium. It is very good browser and is available for download just like Chrome. All that Chromium is missing in comparison to Chrome is a few proprietary components that most people won’t even miss.

3. Go

You heard about many programming language like C, C++, java etc. But Go is also a programming language which was created in 2007 and introduced in 2009. It introduced to relieve some of the difficulties of C family language while providing us flexibility as much as possible. The Go tools and standard library are available on all major platforms like Windows, MACOS as well as UNIX variants and LINUX.

4. Dart

Dart is another language which is part of an open source project of Google. Dart is intended as a web application, application server, mobile application, and IOT language. Dart is not a compiled language. Dart is scripting language that run in a virtual machine like java or python. Dart also have own virtual machine and it can be transcompiled into JavaScript for more flexibility.

5. Fuchsia OS


Google has currently two operating system to maintain one is Android and other is Chrome OS but news is coming that Google has decided to pioneer a new OS that is neither LINUX Or UNIX based. It based on the little kernel, Fuchsia OS that is still mystery to us. There is a long road ahead of Fuchsia before it can contend with contemporary operating systems, but if Google has shown us anything, it’s that they are most capable.
