5 Bowlers who take consecutive 5 wicket in an inning

1.Shane Shillingford.

Shane Shillingford is former West Indies international cricketer and he play test cricket for Windies. He made his test debut on 10 June 2010 in the home series against South Africa. He took 5 consecutive wickets for 6 times in an inning against of Zimbabwe and India in 2013. He is banned for his action on 21 Dec 2010 by ICC    and banned from in international cricket until he could not get clean cheat from ICC. Shane return in international cricket after getting the clean cheat in 2011.  He included highest 10th wicket partnership with Sulieman Benn ever at Sabina park. He hold the record fastest fifty in just 25 ball after Jackques Kallis.

2.Harbhajan Singh.

Harbhajan Singh is former Indian international cricketer, he is widely known as ‘Bhaji’. He is one of the best bowler in Indian cricket history. He is famous for his bowl ‘dusera’. He is specialist spin bowler, and second bowler take highest number of wicket as off-spinner after Sir Lankan bowler Muralitharan. He is first Indian bowler who take 4 times 5 consecutive wickets in four innings against Australia in 2001. He make his ODI debut in early 1998. Against Australia he take 32 wicket in series, also became the first Indian bowler who take hat trick in test match. He was in the world cup winning team of 2011 cricket world cup. He was conferred the Padma Shri. Harbhajan make his place in Indian after the 2001 boarder-Gavaskar trophy. He was named man of  the match and man of the series having taken 32 wickets. Harbhajan involved  in the controversy durning 2008 IPL league in that he slapped Punjab paceman S Sreesanth in the face.

3.Shane Warne.
Shane Warne is former Australian international cricketer. He is rated as one of the  best bowler in cricket history. He was named as one of the wisden cricketer of the year in 1994 and wisden leading cricketer in the world 1997. He was selected by team of cricket expert as wisden cricketer of the century. Warne holds the record 708 wicket in test by bowler that is the highest. Warne take 5 consecutive wicket for 4 times against Sir Lanka in 2004. Warne retired from international cricket in January 2007. The BALL OF THE CENTURY is bowled by Warne to Mike Gatting on day two the first match of Ashes series in 1993. He take 293 wicket in ODI cricket. He declared as vice captain of Australia in 1999 to 2000. In Feb 2003 one day before the world cup Warne sent to home after drug test during the one day series in Australia returned a positive result.

4. Muttiah Muralitharan.

Muttiah Muralitharan is former Sir Lankan international cricketer. He is rated as one of the best bowler in cricket history. He is specialist spin bowler and he take highest number of wicket in international cricket as off spinner. Murali rated as wisden cricketer’s Almanack in 2002. He retired from test cricket in 2010. He is the highest wicket taker in test cricket when overpass the record of Shane Warne on 3 Dec 2007. His average in test is 6 wicket per test, he is most successful bowler in that game. He reach to the milestone of 800 test wicket by dismissing the Pragyan Ojha. His best controversy over his bowling action in his international career. He is popular for his doosra but it banned for some time due to his action. In 2009 he is highest wicket taker in both format. He is also played in IPL for Chennai Super Kings. In 2015 Murali was appointed as bowling coach as Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mentor of the team.

5.Tom Richardson.


Tom Richardson is former English international cricketer. He was rated as great fast bowler of his time. He took five consecutive wicket as many times for England. In 1963 Neville Cardus selected him as one of six giants of the wisden century. He died on 2 July 1912 in France. He always heavy drinker and around this time the habit got out of hand and his weight begin increasing, that’s reduce the speed and stamina. At the timed he live in bath and played once for Somerset in 1905, but  it was clear from his failure then that he could no longer play serious cricket. His weight gain, combined with a congenital heart abnormality, resulted in a fatal heart attack at the age of 41, whilst on a summer walking holiday in France. He took 5 consecutive for 3 time against England.
