Swami Vivekananda was an Indian Hindu Monk chief disciple of the 19^th century Indian mystic Ramakrishna. He was born into an aristocratic Bengali family of Calcutta. Swami Vivekananda was key figure in the introduction of the Indian Philosophies of yoga to the western world. His prime force in the revival of Hinduism in India and also contributed the concept of nationalism in planter India. He founded the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna mission. He is perhaps best known for his fast reading skill and for his speech (Sisters and brothers of America).
