5 Strange Secrets Behind Moon

The moon is permanent satellite of earth and it is the biggest satellite in the solar system. The average distance of moon from earth is 238,900 miles and light takes 1.28 second to reach on earth from moon. The moon is synchronous rotation with earth and always showing the same face.

It is nearest companion in our space to travel and the only the only astronomic body that we can visit. Scientist thought that the moon was formed before 4.5 billion years.

Moon held many interesting facts and it affects our life in many ways.

1. The moon origin

Still we don’t know “Where did the moon come from”. There are many theories about the origin of the moon.

The Fission theory argues that it is part of our planet that was separated from earth at early point of earth history.

The capture theory says that the moon was just wandering the universe until that gravitational field caught it.

The most popular theory is the Ejected Ring theory. It says a planet that is forming called Theia collided with Earth. The ensuring cloud of rubbish lastly condensed into the Moon.

2. Sleep cycle of human

The moon effects on earth and human it remains source of constant debate. Many consider that full moon brings out the 

strangest behavior in human but science has not able to prove that fact.

According to volunteer based experiment by the University of Basel in Switzerland, the phases of the moon affect and disturb human sleep cycles in a clearly mediocre way. And they say very difficult to sleep on night while moon full.

3. Shadow of Moon

According to Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin the shadow of moon were far darker compare to earth due to the lack of atmosphere. Once the foot stepped in a shadow, you could not see it anymore nevertheless the Sun was blazing in the sky.

After that they found that they could adjust to the shadow but there is challenge that constant contrast between dark shadowy and sunny areas. Or even more stranger thing that when they see that some of the shadow namely their owns had holes.

Due to shadow of the moon affects many Apollo missions. Many astronauts found their maintenance task impossible because their own hand block out. While other found own sleep slope because of the deep shadow that look like a cavern.

4. Dust of Moon

Moon dust is another mystery of moon. As we know dust is found everywhere on earth but in case of moon it is downright hazardous. Moon dust is extremely rough and fine as flour.

NASA faced number of problem due to moon dust. It has canker astronauts boots almost completely through and traveled inside the ships with space suits and caused moon hay fever in poor astronauts.

It is consider that longer exposure to the articles could even cause airlocks to fail and space suits to be break down.

5. Lunar Anomalies

We have found many lunar anomalies one is that some of picture is taken by the various vessels that have visited it show some unusual thing on the surface of moon. These picture seem to be like artificial construct that range from small canister which look like a towering structure that could be tall at least 1.6 kilometer.

If we listen the paranormal enthusiasts, there even larger castle that is pensile high above the surface of the moon. But NASA has never bothered about these stranger theories.
