Dracula: The terrifying Truth

Dracula means the son of Dragon. Dracula is one of the most ill-timed monster and first example of classic vampire elegant in literature. First time Bram Stoker wrote about Dracula legendary vampire in novel, 1897. 

It inspired many countless horror movies, television shows and some other bloodcurdling tales of vampire.

It is considered that Dracula killed more than 1 lacks people before his death and after death his body never found there and others says that his possible remains were indeed found but then disappeared.

According to historian who have studied the link between stoker’s vampire count and Vlad III, he says that there was two Dracula don’t have much in common.

About Real Dracula:

According to most accounts Vlad III was born in around 1430 in Transylvania that is now central region of Romania. And according to the Florin Curta the link between Vlad the Impaler and Transylvania is very small. Florin Curta is a professor of medieval history and archaeology at the University of Florida.

People say Dracula is linked with Transylvania but the real Dracula Vlad III never accept anything in Transylvania.
Transylvania is considered as Dracula castle, it was never the residence of the Wallachia prince. According to the Curta Dracula never lived there, even he never stepped foot there. 

Castle is located in the mountains in the cloudy area and it looks like terrible. Curta said “May be Vlad III and Vlad II had own residence in Sighisoara but it is not certain that Vlad III was born there”.

King Sigismund of Hungary, who would be the Holy Roman Emperor in 1931, he inducted the elder Vlad into knightly order, the order of Dragon. To this designation elder Vlad earned a new surname that was Dracul.

Dracul name come from the old Romanian word of Dragon “Drac”. After that his son Vlad III known as the “Son of Dracul” or in old Romanian “Dracula”. The word Drec refers to another feared creature the devil.

Captivity Years:

A trap was set by Sultan Murad II “when Vlad II was called to meeting with Sultan Murad II then he bought Vlad III but all of them were arrested.” Sultan Murad II set a condition that elder Vlad could leaves but he leaves his son behind.

The reason of trap is that Sultan want to Vlad II behaved himself in the ongoing war between Turkey and Hungary but Sultan held Vlad III and his brother said by Elizabeth Miller.

According to Radu Florescu and Raymond McNally Vlad became a skilled horseman and warrior or Vlad and his brother were tutored in science, philosophy and arts. 

According to Miller “They are treated reasonably well by current standard of the time during captivity.”
Vlad brother satisfied and went on the Turkish side but Vlad held he held enmity and that is the motivating factor to fighting the Turks.

Prince Vlad:

When Vlad and his brother were in Ottoman hands, during that Vlad’s father fight to keep his place as voivode of Wallachia, but eventually he lose the fight. Around 1450 Vlad II was ousted by ruler of Wallachia by local noblemen. And his older brother also was killed along his father.

After these horrible events Vlad embarked on a campaign to regains his father seat from the new ruler, Vladislav II.

According to miller after the invention of printing press, a lot of stories about Vlad were circulating publically.

Deaths of Vlad’s:

Around 1460 Vlad forced into exile in Hungary due to lose by his much powerful adversary. During that period of time he married and had two children.

Vlad III died during the fight against an invasion of Turks. After that Dracula reputation caught up with him in a bad way, most of the army just switched after seeing the impalement factor in the other army was very poor. Dracula head was sliced off by his own troops and the head was sent to the Turkish Sultan.

Once Dracula invited all the sick, vagrants and beggars over to his home and under the pretext of a feast, after all had eaten their fill Dracula politely excused himself then boarded up the entire court and then burned the whole building while everybody was still inside.

According to the historian not a single was survived.

Dracula killed more than 100,000 people:

According to the historian Dracula killed more than one lacks people in his entire life, include man breathed death and then ate it for dinner. With one trap he killed more than twenty thousand Turkish.
